The head of the Dreamweavers within St. Cloud, Gwendolyn is both bold and talented. She takes direction swiftly and does not waver in her devotion to the creation of new dreams. However her time in Reverieh is dwindling and she must find a new replacement. She receives a mysterious message that states Yumiko is to be her replacement. Gwendolyn does not understand how this can be possible, since Yumiko is not very skilled in dreamweaving and cannot create a fully developed dream on her own.
